7 days a week 24 hours a day 365 days a year!
We are so excited to see life for so many getting back to NORMAL! Schools are starting up again and kids and teachers can finally get back into the classroom. I know there are lots of families that are excited and yet somewhat concerned about this upcoming school year. This gives us a special opportunity to pray for those returning to school. Sunday August 30th we will be praying for our Teachers and Students in the 11am service. Now that we know that the media has exaggerated every bit of bad news it possibly can (that’s what they get paid to do).
Here is a little Good News out of Psalms 36:7-10!
How precious is Your unfailing love, O God!
All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of Your wings.
8 You feed them from the abundance of your own house,
letting them drink from your river of delights.
9 For YOU are the fountain of life, the light by which we see.
10 Pour out Your unfailing love on those who love You;
give justice to those with honest hearts.
Our prayer here at Friendship Church is that you would know the great abundance of joy that God has for you today and that you would seek that abundance in and through His Word. I just love verse eight, “You feed them from the abundance of your own house, letting them drink from Your river of delights”
Hope to see you Sunday!
At Friendship Cleburne, we are a family whose heart's desire is to see lives transformed by the power of the Good News of Jesus' life, death and resurrection. We want the church to be a source of hope and encouragement to you as you discover God's calling on your life. Whether you are joining us in person or online, we invite you to come experience our services and be a part of the Friendship family.
No perfect people allowed!
There is nothing like the sacred text of scripture that has been meticulously kept and handed down to us through the years. Sixty six different books written by over 40 different people with different backgrounds and from different time periods, but this book has ONE subject, GOD! We are unapologetic about believing in the Word of God as the final and authoritative communication of who God is and how we are to respond to His love. We believe that faith and religion are to be lived out in light of God's revealed Word.
We believe in the Holy Spirit and His power to transform our lives through God’s word so that we could measure to the standard of the righteousness of Christ. Personal sanctification is the proof of the work of Christ. Jesus died for our sins so that we would be set free from the penalty of sin AND the power of sin. We are all being changed into the likeness of His Son. Our church is a community focused on worshipping The Father, through Jesus the son, through the power of Holy Spirit. Beholding HIM, we are being transformed by His presence.
We are so excited to announce that we are able to meet in person on campus!
Thank you for all of those who gave worked and prayed to see our newly remodeled sanctuary come together!
